Design Process

for residential & commercial projects

#1

Consultation

After a brief discovery call to determine if we are a good fit for each other, we’ll proceed with an onsite consultation. This consult includes taking measurements and photos (if this is a remodel), and includes discussing your goals, budget, and timeline.

#2

Inspiration & Concept

We’ll take the vast amount of information compiled during our consultation and transform it into a design concept for you to review. We’ll collaborate on this concept together and, when all has been approved, we’ll begin the initial steps for applying that concept to your space.

#3

Space Planning

At this point in our work together, we’ll create floor plans and communicate with the various tradespeople who will be needed to bring our design to fruition. We’ll conduct onsite meetings and coordinate with your contractors. You’ll be updated at every milestone.

#4

Styling & Selections

Fabric swatches, tile samples, paint combinations and furnishing ideas will make their way to you. Together, we’ll narrow down the best choices for fixtures, furnishings, color palettes, and more. This phase of our project is where you’ll start to see the full design plan come to light.

#5

Presentation & Renderings

Because our imaginations aren't always accurate, we will use various rendering tools when presenting elevations and finish selections to you. These tools take out the guesswork or need to wonder about how your final project will look. Despite this sneak peek, you'll still be thrilled for reveal day.

#6

Procurement & Install

As products begin to arrive and construction comes to an end, we’ll ensure each piece is installed and styled accordingly. From custom window treatments to beautiful furniture, your space will be turnkey-ready and waiting. We look forward to your residential or commercial project!

Timeless and beautiful!

Kristin is both professional and personal to work with. Kristin has worked with us on 3 different projects - a new build, a lake house remodel, and now a small commercial space. I think Kristin is set apart in her attention to detail and the function of a space, and she's not so swayed by trends - all of her projects look timeless, beautiful, and unique based on the needs, preferences, and function of the client.
